About Shivam

Shivam graduated from the Savitribai Phule Pune University (formerly University of Pune), India in 2019 completing the Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws program. Shivam then went on to complete his LL.M. (Masters of Law) from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland in 2021. Shivam has also completed his LL.M. in Canadian Common Law from Osgoode Hall Law School and has completed his lawyers licensing requirements with the Law Society of Ontario.

Being an international student himself, Shivam was always intrigued by Immigration Law. Hence, after taking formal education in Canadian Laws, Shivam decided to pursue a career in Immigration & Refugee Law. Shivam resonates with the dynamic nature of Immigration and Refugee law, as he believes the evolving policies and regulations in Immigration & Refugee Law offers a constant learning curve. He believes the field of Immigration and Refugee Law allows him to synergize his legal acumen with a profound sense of social responsibility, through which he can make a meaningful and positive impact on the lives of immigrants and their families.

In his free time Shivam enjoys listening to podcasts and watching movies and playing cricket and soccer.
