About Elham

Elham Tarahimofrad is a Legal Assistant at Gerami Law PC, joining the firm in November 2024. Elham holds a Bachelor of Law and a Master of International Law from Iran, as well as an LL.M. from the Université de Montréal, where her master’s thesis critically examined women’s health data, privacy in FemTech laws, and their connection to women’s empowerment.

Fluent in Farsi, French, and English, Elham brings a global perspective and a passion for women’s rights to her work. Her personal journey as an immigrant and her experiences living in multiple countries have shaped her interest in immigration and refugee law.

At Gerami Law PC, Elham’s responsibilities include conducting client intakes, assisting with refugee files and immigration applications, preparing legal documents and retainer agreements, conducting legal research, and supporting counsel in case preparation and management. She is committed to making a tangible, positive impact on the lives of clients and advancing the firm’s mission of effective, compassionate, and principled legal representation.

Outside of work, Elham enjoys cinema, literature, exploring artistic and cultural events, and strolling through the city.
