About Brendan

Brendan earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa in 2021 and his Honours Bachelor in Political Science at the same school in 2018 where he took a half-year to study in Morocco. While completing his law degree, Brendan was admitted into the University’s inaugural Neuberger-Jesin peace mediation course, intensive negotiation practicums, and competed in mock-trial competitions.

Over the course of his studies Brendan has worked at various government agencies from serving as an Analyst at Global Affairs Canada to an Investigator at Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). It was while working at IRCC that Brendan developed a passion for Immigration-related advocacy and the complex human rights questions that come with it.

Brendan is particularly proud of having once run a summer camp, and in his free time continues to enjoy backcountry camping, volleyball, politics, and visiting as many restaurants as he possibly can.
